While surfing today for something totally different (that’s how usually happens, right?) I came across a version of a video that that I hadn’t seen in a looooooong time. This song, Boys, hit the charts back in 2000 (I think) by a German band called Band Ohne Namen, aka B.O.N., meaning “band with no name.” After an unsuccessful album the band split in 2003. Afterwards, the lead singer Guy Cross tried a solo album but it was a flop too.

What struck me about this video was that it is the German version and uncensored. I had seen the English version a few years back, an, edited version of the German video and dubbed with English words. I definitely like the German version a lot better. There is also now an unedited English version YouTube. To me the German version sounds a lot better and I can understand why it was a hit.
