Gay Books

  • The Big Penis Book
“Check out this video about The Big Penis Book by the book’s creator, Dian Hanson.

When it comes to pleasure, size doesn’t matter, as we all know it’s quality, not quantity that counts. But let’s admit it: a big penis is undeniably compelling, and for us gay men it is arouses primal urges. Big shoulders, big lapels, and big hair may come and go, but the big penis never goes out of fashion. With those possessing more than 8 inches making up less than 2% of the world’s population, this rare accessory will always fascinate and stimulate.

In The Big Penis Book, we explore the centuries-old fascination with the large phallus, a fascination common to men and women alike. This hefty book is profusely illustrated with over 400 historic photos of spectacular male endowments, including rare photos of the legendarily hung John Holmes. The majority of the photographs are from the 1970s, when the sexual revolution first freed photographers to depict the male entirely nude. Photographers include Bob Mizer of AMG, David Hurles of Old Reliable, Colt, Falcon, Sierra Domino, Third World and Champion Studios, with each of these iconic photographers interviewed or profiled, along with information about each of their models.”

  • The Nude Male
“David Leddick, the popular and acclaimed author of Male Nude Now, brings us the latest and most current survey of the male nude form, as seen through the eyes of today’s most important and influential artists who recognize the inherent physical and emotional beauty of the subject. The Nude Male features the work of more than 120 established and emerging visual artists, including Clive Barker, Tom Bianchi, an Nan Goldin, making this collection of stunning photographs and art nothing less than the premier catalog of the genre.”
  • Wilhelm Von Gloeden: Fotografie
“Long unseen, this collection of historic nudes and staged photographs, by artistic rebel Wilhelm von Gloeden, is a must for any collector of photography.

  • Go South
“For those of you who have enjoyed Julius’ masterpiece, Go West.. here’s the next book in that series: Go South! This time you’ll meet young Adrian who spends the summer on his Uncle Lucien’s plantation in Savannah in the mid 1860’s. He soon finds out more about life in Mandeville than he ever expected in his wildest dreams! Let’s just say that it gets pretty hot and steamy… and we’re not talking about the weather! This is Julius at his best: hot hunks, and even hotter action.”
  • Barely Working
“Adam Raphael, photographer of the widely praised powerHouse Books title Room Service, offers a delicious collection of young men in his new book, Barely Working. Once again documenting a racially diverse group of the finest faces and bodies, Raphael has captured his models in various working situations including auto repair, car washing, landscaping, and other similar settings. Of course, work soon gives way to play, and the unique combination of laughter, competition, and youthful energy converge to create a sensual tension that can only be made by a photographer who has the skill and talent to work closely with his models without ever overshadowing or crowding them.”
  • Frat Sex 2
“Whether you are currently in school or have long departed and just want to revisit those glory days, go ahead and fantasize. Let the stories here take you to a campus you wish you could visit.”
  • Raging Stallion: Magnum
“This is where the men are! The muscles of these models shine of sweat, and their chests are furry. Facial hair decorates the guy’s kissers. These are the burliest men Raging Stallion Studios has in its massive stable. Photographer Kent Taylor’s Magnum is loaded with men in heat, tattooed sixpacks, pierced body parts and massive hands - all hardbound for the first time.

  • Uncensored
“A bold, masculine, and completely uncensored continuation of the best-selling photography book Testosterone, Joe Oppedisano’s Uncensored is a journey of men and their deepest desires. From straightforward pinup portraits of uninhibited men and their raw sensuality to elaborate fantasies of bondage, sex, and ecstasy, Uncensored delivers the quality you’ve come to expect from Oppedisano and amplifies it ten-fold!

Uncensored documents Oppedisano as he bravely steps outside his realm of dark, erotically charged dungeons. Each page is injected with a compellingly tantalizing display of flesh as he embarks upon his mission with a successful mix of masculinity, sexuality, glam and ironic humor amidst stunningly bright locations. Rugged men openly engage in displays of bondage on urban sidewalks while muscular athletes are captured in breathtaking form surrounded by lush landscapes. Through the lens of his camera, Oppedisano opens a new door with Uncensored, which proudly takes audiences both new and old to another level of artistic vision only previously imagined.”

  • x-posed
“Dylan Rosser focuses on the purity and sensuality of the male form, often showing not much more than a smooth, sexy male body using light and shadow to accentuate the athletic curves and shapes of the models. The key idea of x-posed is to keep it all nude, because as soon as items of clothing are added, one inevitably ends up with an image dated in time. But Rosser’s aim is the timeless and classic.

  • Tom of Finland: The Complete Kake Comics
“In 1965, Tom of Finland began flirting with the idea of an ongoing character for his panel stories, the ultimate Tom’s Man. He tried out a blond named Vicky - a common male name in Finland - followed by a Tarzan-inspired Jack. Then in 1968 Tom settled on Kake, a dark-haired, mustached, leatherman who often wore a tight white t-shirt bearing the motto ‘Fucker.’ Kake lived up to his moniker, a sort of post-Stonewall, hyper-masculine Johnny Appleseed traveling the world on his motorcycle to spread the seeds of liberated, mutually satisfying, ecstatically explicit gay sex. Tom lived out many of his most personal fantasies through Kake, and Kake’s international fans made him the template for what came to be known as the gay clone look of the 1970s.

Between 1968 and 1986, Tom published 26 episodes of Kake adventures, most 20-page booklets. Now for the first time all 26 stories have been collected in one volume. Return with Kake to the days when men were men, sex was carefree, and everyone wore a big thick mustache.
