St. Petersburg, FL — A few weeks ago, the St. Petersburg Times put together a group voters sitting on the fence between Barack Obama and John McCain. At that time the distrust of Obama was high, but that’s not the case now. In a major swing to the left, the undecided voters are blaming Sarah Palin. Only two of the 11 randomly picked voters currently say they are enthusiastic about McCain’s choice for VP.
“That was almost insulting,” Democrat Rhonda Laris of Temple Terrace, another strong Clinton backer skeptical of Obama, said of the Palin pick. “Do they think we’re really stupid? … I’m definitely leaning toward the Democratic side now. Sarah Palin scares … me.”
