On Tuesday, the presidential hopeful was speaking to the a Chamber of Commerce and citicizing the Democrats. During his address he said, “Actually, just look at what Osam – Barack Obama – said just yesterday. Barack Obama, calling on radicals, jihadists of all different types, to come together in Iraq. That is the battlefield. … It’s almost as if the Democratic contenders for president are living in fantasyland. Their idea for jihad is to retreat, and their idea for the economy is to also retreat. And in my view, both efforts are wrongheaded.”
Clearly he was referring to a tape that aired the day before that was presumably Osama Bin Laden urging in insurgents in Iraq to unite. It should be noted this tape has not been deemed as authentic.
In regards to Romney’s slip of the tongue about all that Barack Obama has to say was, “I don’t pay much attention to Romney.”

On a similar note, TMZ.com picked up on a couple of photos in July of a campaign sign with the words “No to Obama Osama and Chelsea’s Moma.” Ironically, in one of the photos Mitt Romney is seen holding the sign.
Slip up or not, does Romney really think he has a chance in hell to win the election? And, what is with him holding that sign? I can only imagine what would happen if Barack Obama was photographed holding a sign that read “No to War, No to Bush Hitler.”
So is it really a slip of words, just a mistake or is Mitt Romney trying to “brainwash” us into confusing the name Osama and Obama? Nah, I’m sure even the coldest hearts of political figures wouldn’t stoop that low.
