Jake and I flew out last night on a flight to Chicago to spend the weekend there with some friends. Today the temp is in the 70′s, it’s fair and the wind is calm. We’ll spend the day snuggling on the beach so I won’t be posting much this weekend. That’s kind of sad because I didn’t get the opportunity to cover the democratic convention like I wanted to. Barack gave an excellent speech and I really wanted to write about it. So, I’ll just say this. His speech was a marriage between Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy and perhaps yielded the best speech ever of any DNC to date.
Then we got hit with the news that McCain chose Sarah Palin as his VP running mate — Was that a joke? Nope, it’s real! It’s obvious this decision was only because Obama didn’t choose Hillary which means that McCain only chose Palin because she’s a woman.
Okay, Jake says enough posting. We’re headed out to beach This weekend is all about my man and me. See you all on Tuesday!
