Browsers
I originally posted this in its own post but I also decided to put it here as part of the site’s features because well…the site in itself is a feature that’s not supported in IE6 and below…upgrade or else miss out on the latest and greatest the web has to offer. Comments are closed on all of the “feature” pages. If you’d like to comment on the browser support issue/non-issue please do so on the original post. You can find it here. This page will be updated as necessary however the original post as linked to above will not be updated.
This blog is optimized for Firefox and Safari browsers. It also works in Netscape which is the basis of Firefox. There are issues with IE 6 and below. If you are having issues viewing this site with IE6 it’s because IE doesn’t support the code used on this site. IE is far behind in todays technology. If you have upgraded to IE 7 or later you should not have these issues. I have tested this site in IE 7 and it appears to be working OK, with the exception of a couple of minor bugs in the theme coding. Nothing erratic or harmful.
Google’s Chrome beta is not supported. I’m sure it will be an awesome browser once they work out all the kinks. Until then, it’s a no-go.
My suggestion: Upgrade to Firefox. It is the most internet friendly browser available. It’s open source and its free. Millions use it. Use it too and enhance your web surfing experience. You can get it here
