Amazon Black Friday Shopping Tip!

If you’re going to be shopping at Amazon this Black Friday – thru the weekend here’s a tip for you:

Click on the pic below or the links in this post, go to Amazon. Once there, sign up for Amazon Prime so you can get free two shipping or super cheap overnight or next day shipping.

Overnight shipping is something like $6.99 and next day shipping is $3.99. A tip within a tip…if you add multiple items to your cart and choose either the the over night or next day shipping you will be charged the shipping price for each item. That gets expensive so only use it on those items which you really need quickly. Otherwise put them all in the shopping cart and choose the free 2 day shipping. It’s a super deal!

Another tip within a tip…if you sign up for Amazon Prime you’ll get a 30 day free trial. This is perfect for this time of year so you can do all your Christmas shopping with free shipping, even with purchasing just one item at a time. That’s a must on some super bargains that you come across because they can go out of stock before you get all your items added to the cart.

Once you’re done with all your shopping for the holidays you can cancel your Prime account before the 30 day trial is up to avoid the $79 Amazon Prime annual fee at the end of the 30 days.

Why use Amazon Prime for your holiday shopping?  Because the standard free shipping is only available on totals over $25 and it’s the 5 to nine day shipping which allows for all kinds of things to go wrong.  With the prime account the shipping is only two days and still free regardless of your shopping cart total.  There are some restrictions on larger items and items not sold by Amazon – See site for details.
