Born and raised in
Being from a conservative state that eats its own if you don’t fit the bill I’ve had to learn the hard way to speak my mind and tell it like it really is. Something I’ve become quite accomplished at doing and sometimes mistaken as sarcasm when in reality it’s just survival.
I lived a secret life in the closet for far too long and have just recently came out as a gay man under 2 years ago. Life’s been a struggle in that respect but at least now I can stand up and be proud! I am an activist for both human rights and our country’s freedom. I am very interested in politics, entertainment and sub-cultures.
Professionally I am a Quality Assurance Analyst and have worked for big company giants like
I’ve also been successful as a builder in Second Life where I’ve constructed 3-D worlds for companies and individuals looking to commercialize in the ever growing online virtual world known as Second Life.
More recently, I’ve enjoyed blogging with friends on the internet and have started my own blog at LikaStarr.com. I’ve been published in print by our local alternative paper in Dallas, The Dallas Observer. I’m not sure if my words were reviled or revered. In any case I can stake claim as a published author even if my articles were thrown in the trash can 120,000 times on more than one occasion!
