Jake and I decided that we’re going to see The Dark Knight this afternoon. That is after we missed the sold out midnight showing on IMAX. Last week we tried to get tickets to see the movie on an Imax screen but all were sold out until next week.
Instead of waiting, we’re going to see it twice now. Today at the regular theater and then next week at IMAX. Jake is worried seeing today will spoil it for us when we see it next week. But I’ve managed to convince him it will be an entirely different experience.
The only concern I have is being weirded out by seeing Heath Ledger in this role after he died earlier this year. But if his performance is as good as everyone is saying it should also be quite the tribute.
I’ll post later what I thought about the movie after seeing it today. Now it’s time for us to shower and get dressed….Later peeps!

I can’t wait to see The Dark Knight. My friends and I are going to try to see it in the iMax later in a week or so when the crowds calm down so we can all sit together. Gonna check back to see what you thought of it and Heath Ledger’s performance in the film till then
i got to see this at 1am Thursday night. it was terrific and heath was even better. so i’m sure you will like it too. we didn’t see it at imax. now i want to.

Our what was to be a quick afternoon movie and back home turned into a full evening. We ended up making it a double feature and saw the new Indiana Jones too. I really wasn’t all that impressed with Jone’s flick but it was ok enough. TDK (The Dark Knight), on the other hand was awesome. So, yeah Tony, you were right. I did like it.
After the movies, we went out for dinner. When we got home last I sat down to write a short review about TDK. It ended up being way too long. I start writing and tend to do that sort of thing, lol.
We just got back from the lake, so now I’ve got the opportunity to chop-n-dice my review. It should be posted in about an hour or so.
